We're excited to make public that a team born at the Lean Startup Machine, Branch (formerly Roundtable), has announced $2M in funding and a partnership (ie. investment) with the Co-Founders of Twitter, Evan Williams & Biz Stone. We incubated the Branch team for 4 months in our office (Dogpatch Labs) following their 1st place finish and made key introductions to several people that have now invested in them, including Lerer Ventures, David Tisch, and Lucas Nelson. You can read about the partnership with Obvious Corp. here & here. The Lean Startup Machine team is so proud of these guys for all their hustle and ambition. We have no doubt they will be successful and will blaze a trail for Lean Startups everywhere. We're currently working on a longer case study with the Co-Founders which will include quotes from their investors & other mentors. Stay tuned!
