The Event

Lean Startup Machine (LSM) is a three-day workshop on building a successful business. Most new ventures fail because they build something no one wants. LSM teaches you a process for discovering which products will succeed in the marketplace and which won't. LSM is an immersive, 48-hour educational experience, NOT a conference and NOT a hackathon.

Sunday, June 10th, 2012

Friday you show up, have some pizza and meet mentors and other attendees. Bring an idea to pitch so you get others to work with you or bring your existing startup team and work on what you are doing now. After forming some assumptions we break for the night!

Saturday those assumptions will be tested with customers, likely most of your assumptions will be wrong, so you will iterate at a crazy speed creating and validating new assumptions. You will go through several Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), most likely a landing page to test the market and iterate until you will find the right market for your idea. During dinner we'll of course also broadcast the Dutch vs. Denmark soccer game and if you're interested, at night there's a little party downstairs called NOW&WOW Fest.

At last, Sunday afternoon you will present your learnings to the other teams and to a jury on the top floor of the highest building in the Benelux. This is not just a learning exercise, you will compete with the other teams to win additional mentorship, support and other prizes. After a drink and congratulations we head to a yet to be disclosed bar to celebrate your accomplishments.
